The rough-in is the part nobody sees and the part that decides whether the renovation works. We set out wastes, falls and stub-outs to the drawing, pressure test before the wall is closed, coordinate our timing with the waterproofer and the tiler, then come back for the fit-off once the surfaces are in. The work is done under a QBCC plumbing and drainage licence and the compliance paperwork is issued at the end.

Full bathroom rough-in. The set-out matched the drawing, they turned up when the tiler needed them to, and the compliance paperwork came through without me chasing it.

Solid work on the laundry. Would have liked a bit more warning that the water would be off for the afternoon, but they left the place spotless.
